We are proud to announce that this June, 46 of our student recipients completed undergraduate and graduate degree programs at 31 colleges and universities across the United States! We’ll be staying in touch with them to learn more about their plans and how we can continue to support their progress. Here’s some ‘at-a-glance’ information on our 2010 graduates:
- 31 students earned undergraduate degrees (70%)and 14 students (30%) earned graduate degrees.
- 80% of ABF undergraduates majored in liberal arts and 20% majored in a science.
- ABF graduate students earned degrees in business, law, teaching, playwriting, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
- In total, ABF scholars earned degrees in 29 different majors and emphases ranging from advertising and marketing to environmental studies to computer engineering.
- 11 ABF scholars (24%) completed professional degrees, both undergraduate and graduate, leading to specific licensing or certification. These include three engineers (civil, electrical and mechanical), four lawyers, three teachers, and one landscape architect.
