First Time Applicants — How to Get Started

Note for Parents: We request that only students fill out the online application. Please do not assume their responsibility in the application process. Why we feel this way.

  1. Create your account.

    Fill out the form and answer the questions. Use your personal email account (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo), not a .edu or .net address. If you do not have an email address based on your name, we recommend that you obtain one for the purpose of filling out your application.

  2. Check your email for a temporary password.

    You will receive an email from The Albert Baker Fund with a temporary password and a link to our secure login page. Your username is your email address, and your temporary password is located at the bottom of the email.

    If you do not receive an email within five minutes, and you have checked your spam folder, then send an email to admin@albertbakerfund.org including your full name and a member of our staff will reset your password. Do not re-register.

  3. Log in to the system and choose your new password.

    Your login will expire 60 days from the first time you log in. You must select a new eight character, alphanumeric password and verify it before you can proceed.

  4. Read detailed online instructions.

    The online application system can be complicated so please take the time to read our “user’s manual” first, (also known as “Online Application Detailed Instructions”); you will find the process will go much smoother if you spend this time up front.
