Dan Herbert, chair of the ABF’s Board of Trustees recently announced the planned retirement of CEO Alan Bashor in the Spring of 2020. Alan has faithfully served ABF as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since December of 2008.
“We are grateful to Alan for the exceptional progress ABF has made during his 10 years of leadership. Such progress includes increasing the depth of programs we offer for the education and development of Christian Scientists, expanding our outreach and financial assistance to Christian Scientists around the globe, and growing our collaboration with partner organizations for the greater good of our Movement,” said Dan.
“A true hallmark of Alan’s service has been his clear vision for the unique role our organization plays in connecting Christian Scientists to each other as they journey through school and careers, and his deep dedication to the spiritual framework of our daily work together.
